On Tuesday, 14th January 2025, Saint Basil the Great’s memory, the Heavenly Manifestor, was honored at his Holy Monastery near the New Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. The celebration was organized by the Hegumen and Elder Kamarasis, Archimandrite Nektarios.
The event included Vespers in the evening and the Divine Liturgy in the morning, led by the Master of Ceremonies of the Patriarchate, Archimandrite Bartholomew. The nuns of the Patriarchate chanted, and monks, nuns, and faithful Jerusalemites gathered for collective prayers.
Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem visited the Holy Monastery during the Divine Liturgy, accompanied by members of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood for veneration.
