With the blessing of Patriarch John of Antioch, the Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Romanos (Hannat) and the Patriarchal Assistant Bishop Moses (Khassi) welcomed Najat Rochdi, Deputy to the UN Special Envoy to Syria, Geir Pedersen, along with an accompanying delegation, at the Patriarchal Headquarters in Damascus.
The meeting focused on aspects of cooperation in rebuilding Syria as a homeland for all its citizens. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of safeguarding human dignity, promoting social peace, and supporting the needs of the people.
