Patriarch John X of Antioch met with Fabien Baussart, Head of the Center of Political and Foreign Affairs in Paris, and his wife, Randa Kassis, President of the Astana Political Platform, at the Patriarchal Residence in Damascus.
They discussed the current situation in Syria and the importance of unity and collaboration in establishing a fair and just Syrian society that goes beyond divisions of minorities and majorities.
The focus was on the necessity of creating a democratic constitution that reflects these values through the participation of all Syrian citizens, ensuring equal rights, progress, and lasting peace in the country.
