A graduation ceremony filled with joy recently took place at “Logos” University College, a modern Higher Education Institution in Albania founded by Archbishop Anastasios of Albania. The ceremony not only celebrated academic accomplishments but also highlighted the values instilled by the Orthodox Church of Albania.
Archimandrite Fr. Anastasios, representing Archbishop Anastasios, attended the ceremony, delivering a message of encouragement to the graduates. Dr. Ilias Ninka, the university’s rector, and Naum Mile, the administrator, also offered their well wishes to the graduates for their future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of the knowledge and moral principles gained during their studies.
Various professors and graduates shared their experiences and insights during the event, reflecting on the significance of their education. A special moment was the presentation of a video showcasing memorable moments from the graduates’ time at the university, accompanied by performances from the University Choir.
Although Archbishop Anastasios was absent, his message to the graduates resonated strongly. He urged them to not only build their future on their education but also on a strong foundation of faith in God. His message emphasized the importance of working for peace, love, and societal progress, aligning with the values of the university.
“Logos” University College is home to three faculties:
- The Faculty of Humanities and Languages, with departments in Social Theology and Religion, Preschool Education, and Greek Language and Culture.
- The School of Applied Sciences, offering departments in Special Medical Laboratories and Applied Informatics.
- The School of Economics, which includes departments of Accounting, Business Administration, and Tourism Management.
Archbishop Anastasios envisions the cultivation of generations of individuals who excel academically while embodying spiritual and moral values that contribute to a better society.
