On the eve of October 22, 2024, the Holy Church celebrated the Feast of the Glorification of the Holy Relics of St. Euthymius, Patriarch of Tarnovo, with an all-night vigil at the Bachkovo Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin. The service was led by Metropolitan Antony, accompanied by Metropolitan Ierotheos of Limnos, Bishop Sioniy, Abbot of the Bachkovo Monastery, and Bishop Isaac of Velbazhd. Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel officiated the Divine Liturgy on the day of the feast.
Other church dignitaries who participated in the service included Metropolitans Ieronymos of Limnos, Nikolay of Plovdiv, Antony of Western and Central Europe, Yakov of Dorostol, and Arseniy of Sliven.
In his closing remarks, Patriarch Daniel blessed the faithful, emphasizing the importance of maintaining unity within the Church and the community, safeguarding faith from heresies and malice, and cherishing the blessings bestowed upon them by God.
He expressed his hope for a prosperous future for the homeland and its people, invoking the protection of St. Euthymius of Tarnovo to guide them through challenges and preserve their unwavering faith.
