Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Australia, Ufuk Gezer, and the Consul General in Sydney, Belgin Ergüneş on the morning of Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The meeting took place at the official Consular Residence, where the Ambassador and Consul General warmly welcomed the Patriarch.
Also present at the meeting were Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, Grand Protosyncellus Gregory, and Archon Konstantinos Delikostantis, Director of the First Patriarchal Office.
