During his speech, the Patriarch expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be in the presence of the clergy and monks, emphasizing the importance of priestly ministry in reconciling people with God.
Patriarch Bartholomew highlighted the priest’s dual role as a servant of God and the faithful, tasked with guiding believers to embody the Holy Spirit. He stressed the significance of humility, continuous prayer, and obedience in the lives of priests and monks, noting that they should serve as examples of these virtues inspired by Christ.
In his closing remarks, the Patriarch encouraged the clergy to remain devoted to their bishop and to nurture the spiritual well-being of their communities through love and dedication.
