Today, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije honored the winners of the “Saint Sava Bell” literary contest. This contest, organized by the Orthodox children’s magazine Svetosavsko Zvonce and the Office of the Serbian Orthodox Church, aims to encourage young people to showcase their creativity and faith.
In his address, Patriarch Porfirije praised the participants for their heartfelt contributions, stating, “I commend you for expressing your innermost thoughts and feelings on paper, inspired by the remarkable name of Saint Sava. Saint Sava, our nation’s greatest son, showed us how to use our gifts and talents in accordance with God’s will.”
The Patriarch emphasized the significance of following Saint Sava’s example and urged the youth to use their abilities to serve God and the community.
