Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, visited the wounded Ukrainian defenders on September 7, 2024, at the Odesa Medical Rehabilitation and Sanatorium Treatment Center.
Accompanied by Archbishop Athanasius of Odesa and Baltsky, clergy, and military representatives, he expressed gratitude to the defenders for their bravery in protecting Ukraine. He also delivered medical equipment for surgeries.
Later, Metropolitan Epiphany met with government officials, philanthropists, and intellectuals, honoring individuals with high church awards in recognition of their contributions.
