The Holy Synaxis of the Hierarchy of the Ecumenical Throne continued its proceedings in Constantinople on September 2, 2024. The second day of the Synaxis was marked by four sessions focused on the exchange of information and discussion of key global and ecclesial issues within Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
During these sessions, hierarchs from various jurisdictions engaged in in-depth discussions and deliberations on significant matters impacting the Orthodox Church worldwide. The Holy Synaxis aims to address and respond to contemporary challenges and developments affecting the Eastern Orthodox Christian community.
The Synaxis is set to continue on September 3, 2024, with further sessions planned to build on the discussions from the previous day.
