Friday, July 26 was the feast day of the Holy Glorious Martyr Saint Paraskevi, celebrated with a service of supplication at her Holy Sanctuary in Neochori, Bosphorus. An Artoklasia was blessed for the health of parishioners and pilgrims.
Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia presided over the service, with a sermon by Archimandrite Nathaniel Filios. Afterward, refreshments were served, and well-wishes were extended to Mrs. Paraskevi-Rea Kalfaoglou, President of the Community of Saint Nikolaos.
The following day, Saturday, July 27, honored the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon. Vespers were held at the Church of Panagia Koumariotissa, officiated by Metropolitan Athenagoras and Metropolitan Kirill of Krini. Archimandrite Nathaniel delivered a sermon on Saint Panteleimon’s mercy and charity.
Metropolitan Athenagoras welcomed Metropolitan Kirill and extended wishes to Archon Panteleimon Vigas. The service concluded with the distribution of bread and a reception to congratulate Archon Panteleimon Vigas.
