During a meeting at the Synodal Palace, Minister of Interior Kalin Stoyanov visited Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria.
Minister Stoyanov congratulated the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church on his election and thanked him for leading the prayer service marking the 145th anniversary of the Ministry of Interior.
“Your gesture of appreciation towards the Ministry of Interior employees is important to us. We look forward to your ongoing support in helping us overcome challenges, and your wisdom will be our guide in our endeavors,” Minister Stoyanov stated.
Patriarch Daniel mentioned that the Church is praying for a swift end to the fire.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Patriarch Daniel wished Minister Stoyanov the protection and assistance of St. Archangel Michael for all Ministry of Interior staff. He also presented the Minister with the Holy Bible, encouraging him to seek spiritual support in times of need.
