On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Bishop Panaretos of Nieri from the Patriarchate of Alexandria presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Panagia Chrysopantanassa in Malounta. The Bishop was accompanied by Protopresbyter Marios Ioannidis.
During the service, Bishop Panaretos delivered the Divine Word, focusing on the God-bearing Fathers of the Fourth Ecumenical Synod and providing an insightful analysis of the day’s Gospel passage. He expressed his gratitude to Metropolitan Isaiah of Tamasos and Oreini for granting him permission and blessing to lead the Eucharistic Assembly in Malounta.
Additionally, the Bishop extended his heartfelt thanks to Father Marios for the invitation and the warm hospitality shown to him and the community during his visit.
