According to the established order of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the feast of all the Saints practicing in Palestine is celebrated on the Sunday after All Saints’ Sunday. This celebration follows the sequence written by the hymn writer Gerasimos Microgiannanites of the Great Church of Christ.
To honor these saints, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at the Church of the Resurrection’s Catholicon. Archbishop Theodosios presided over the liturgy, with Archimandrite Alexios, Fr Anastasios, and Hierodeacon Dositheos as concelebrants. The Secretary of the Holy Synod, Hierodeacon Symeon, led the chanting as local believers and pilgrims attended the service.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Episcopal Entourage proceeded to the Patriarchate.
