On Thursday, 27th July 2024, Archbishop Nikitas presided over Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St Panteleimon in Harrow, North West London, commemorating the Great Healer and Martyr St Panteleimon and celebrating the Five-Year Anniversary of his Enthronement as the Archpastor of this Biblical and historical eparchy of the Ecumenical Throne.
Deacon Dimitrios Mamouchas was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on this special occasion.
Bishop Raphael of Ilion, Bishop Iakovos of Claudioupolis, and other clergy members, including Archons, lay leaders, and faithful Christians, filled the church in Harrow to participate in the Liturgy and express their joy and gratitude for Archbishop Nikitas’ leadership over the last five years.
After the eucharistic assembly, a festive meal was provided by the community. Christos Goulas, Consul of the Hellenic Republic in the UK, and Spyros Miltiades, Deputy High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus, conveyed their greetings to Archbishop Nikitas on this auspicious occasion.
